Is anyone a member on here?

Registered users are only allowed to be in New Zealand - but quite a few early heralds crop up.

Latest being:
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Triumph/auction-305912659.htm

Which is a coupe I wonder what the commission number is states 1959 and with 59 bootlid but later front end.
Any members care to enquire?

Here's the registration file:

Part-way down you can see the chassis and engine numbers. Does this give you the info you want?

I thought GE prefix was 13/60 ID?
Plus all the documents in NZ were originally poorly hand written so many errors were found

There is a 2 litre Vitesse out here with the 3 prefix. That would be a rare car as I am unaware of Vitesse officially being built here in NZ.

The "3" prefix means it was assembled in New Zealand from a CKD kit. For example, my Herald is 3GE28913DL.

Having had a trawl round that website, I definitely want to go to New Zealand! There are some fantastic cars for sale on there

Dave Marshall Redditch, Worcs (a little too close to The Polisher for comfort!)
RBRR 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2008 (didn't finish in 2006 )
HCR 2005
RVM 702J - 1971 2000 Mk.2 in Saffron Yellow
Has been polished TWICE in one year
RYE 159L - 1972 1500 FWD in French Blue
Actually managed 1,000 miles in it during 18 months' custody

Car jam is very good - doesn't really help with NM200 - but it has helped confirm Commissions on a couple of other New Zealand cars I had.

# Engine no: GA95106NE
# Chassis: 3GE16158

So probably just a typo on GA95106NE s/b GA95106HE but 3GE16158?
There are definite pointers to 948 coupe - you can see the rear back panel fitted behind the rear seat - red and white interior possibly pointing to a Black or White or Green original colour.
1959 bootlid too.

Heres a couple of other NZ cars
http://triumph-herald.com/agf657.htm no ref
http://triumph-herald.com/an1585.htm no ref
http://triumph-herald.com/cp1028.htm turns out to be Y8091
http://triumph-herald.com/ro9732.htm turns out to be Y17501

Trade me has thrown up several cars, similarly SwapAce, again with a 'Dave Rudge' coupe on it for some time but no details relating to a commission
