Picked up my last acquisition yesterday, to keep 't Kreng company in the shed;
This will change my Triumph related plans a bit.
Current plan is to restore this car first to more or less standard spec, with a few period upgrades, before tackling 't Kreng  ...

Car is fitted with a Dolly Sprint 'box with overdrive.
So I will probably keep that.
Not yet sure what I will do with the engine, 8V or 16V

Don't know for sure, original colour of the car is Pimento Red (CAB)
This might be the original shade.

Car does have some issue's, like;
a butchered boot (spare wheel well missing);
a late model rear deck (with small filler cap which is situated in a different position;
a Dolly Sprint gear box with over drive;
very worn distributor chain etc.
But most things work sort of and not much visible rust.
But overall a good starting point ... and did I mention I have a very solid early FHC shell in the shed just in case

Looks like I am going to start another restoration in the not to far future  
So a few more pictures from the car. And this time also some of the bits that are not so good ...

Signs of previous repairs to the lower front wings ...



Standard rust patch where inner wing and front bulkhead meet ...



Butchered boot area, missing the spare wheel well ...



Fairly decent interior considering it's 37 years old ...



Engine bay ...



And the shell that I am very much tempted to use for the restoration ...



But first I'll get these refurbished for the DHC ...
