The Wye Dean Group, with the approval of the Committee, have been in contact with the TR Register and they have made CT welcome at their International Weekend at Malvern.

We have been given a large area for any members who wish to bring their cars, and we will have the CT marqee to use as a base.
There is also a camping area close to our display area because we are bringing our caravan as a base, and if enough want to camp we could bring our own marquee so any campers can have somewhere to sit around in the shade (if it is hot) or the dry (if it is raining) in the evening.  We could also have an ad hoc bar-b-q if people bring the necessities for themselves.
We will be there from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening ……… doing the fun dog show that the TR Register put on on the Sunday afternoon, with our Famous Five for a laff!

We hope that lots of people can come along for a day, two days, or the weekend.  It is not necessary for people to have to hang around if the want to go off somewhere during the day though we hope that we will have loads of cars displayed representing CT, and other Triumphs as well as all the TRs (nice as they are). Other local groups have been contacted to let them know what is happening

Camping is free, though any visitors (which also includes TR Register members) have to pay an entry charge for the day/two days/weekend.  This is specified on the TR Register web site and discount booking in advance is available and recommended  Please note that if you have to buy the 2 day ticket and only want to come for one day (such as the Saturday) you will get a rebate in the form of a £10 voucher for the TR Register shop - as well as TR goodies they also sell Penrite oils and other things.

Given that the TR Register have given us so much space we really hope that we can get a good turnout to show off Club Triumph and its range of cars.
As usual CT will make members from other Triumph clubs welcome in our area if other clubs can't attend.

Add a message to this posting if you plan to come (especially if you are camping) or have any questions, or contact Ted Taylor (ted.taylor@bigfoot.com) or Gordon Townley (twnly-grdn@supanet.com)

Although Hatfield is on the Sunday, that is in Hertfordshire so we have something on both sides of the country for Club members.

Ted sadly (sort of) we are away on our family holiday then. Otherwise we would be there. Attended last year, and I must say it was a good event, plenty to see and do.
Well worth a visit....

Started to get on with SCG with the plan to take it to TR Register Malvern though going to be a bit of a push as a lot to do.

With MOT for Woodie coming up I decided to give the old girl a good check over ready for it ......... and found a nasty bit of rot peaking through just under the cross member on a front chassis leg.  I have a bit of tricky welding to do to sort that out.

Must get stuck in and welding done or we won't have ANY Triumph for Malvern, and SCG must wait for another day
