Hi all,

I am looking for a TR5 or TR250 body shell perhaps a TR4 would also do. I do not really require any of the panels just the bare shell.
If anyone knows of a saveable one with not too much welding please let me know.

Of course it should not cost more that a pint and a packet of crisps

Thanks
Andy

Andy

Yesterday I saw the results of a rebuild of a TR5 that started off as bad as yours is, if not worse in places.

The original tub was repaired completely and at a viable price ( A yorkshiremans one!)

I may, just may, be able to put you in touch with the person who did it. There is currently 2 * TR4A and 2* TR6 in the queue.

Or you could just sell me the TR5 for a tenner and I'll get it done....

If all else fails you may be better looking for an early TR6 shell and modifying that

Cheers

Colin

Germany would not be the problem.

Although it is mentioned in the advert as "extra" he does not want to sell it separate to the TR5 restoration project.

Colin,

if I have to wait that long I might as well get on and do it myself. The idea of a new tub was to speed up the repairs.
