There doesn't appear to be much happening on this page, is there a better one where there's even a remote chance of a reply......

That depends.....
many on the forum look at "latest posts" rather than individual sections. So will see everything tat has been posted, more or less, and respond if appropriate.
So things may be better asked in "technical" or suchlike, many issues are not really model specific. But to be perfectly honest, the place where you will get a strong response regarding dolomite specific stuff is the TDC (indeed I am a TDC member, partly as I occasionally buy parts from them which are very good)
Saying that, there is a very wide spread of knowledge on here covering just about everything you can imagine, and a few you can't

I'm a TDC member too but I've been told there's a wealth of knowledge and Dolomite members on here too, but for some reason the Dolomite area is very quiet, which is a real shame, it's a shame for this area of the forum to just die off, correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess you are correct that there are not loads of dolomite specific posts on here, then again there are a few sections that  are slow movers. Most activity seems to be in the 2 chit-chat areas, and of course at the moment the RBRR. Just the way most car forums are going, with many heading towards facebook for instant responses. But on there it seems many responses are not helpful, lots of "likes"  " nice car"  "where did you get that ganglepin" etc rather than actual answers  .

We shall see how the new forum pans out when we get teleported acrosss.

I am a member of both clubs as well, As i have a Dolomite 1850 Auto, and a 2500S saloon auto
I agree not nuch is said about Dolomites on here, but if you have problem with your "Dolly"? I am sure you will get just as much help Both clubs seem to do different things So being a member of both suits me
Cheers, Tony.
