Hi all
I have aquired a stage 1 cyl head with non leaded conversion all new valves, springs and gas flowed for a 1200 engine. Two questions ?
It has been skimmed by 40" what will that bring the compression up to and do i need to uprate bottom end at all.
which way up does the gasket go one side is all metal other is composit. ihave conflicting advice in the manuals concerning comp ratio and head gasket position one manual says swage/composit side up later manual states opposite.

The best way to know what CR a modified head has is to burette the chambers.
This goes double - treble! - if you know as little about it as you do!
