Ok - first post about 2010.

"Not the Xmas meal" is first up of course

Confirmed Friday January 8th 2010.

Will, as always include the presentation to the P&P club member of the year - Mr Steve Thompson AKA half of Team Shorts .

Location - OST, upstairs function room. There will be a bar laid on.

Food is a 70s themed 3 course meal as attachments - 70s clothing optional Just to clarify that bit - clothing is obligatory, it's just the 70s bit that's optional

Deana and I will be organising some appropriate music and there's room for some "entertainment".

Rooms will be available at £45 B&B double occupancy or £22.50 for one.

Confirmed attending are

Martin & Deana Randle
Paul Darbyshire
Andy & Julie Heeley
Martin & Val Leaver
Rob Southern
John Rickman
Steve, Louise & Anna Thompson
Michael & Gillian Helm.

Please copy and add on any more (I am sure there's more but old age is affecting my memory)

Just come off the phone from speaking to Jennie at the OST.

We have 19 people in the list on here plus no doubt there will be one or two others turn up on the night.

The meal will be at 8PM but obviously we'll be milling around before then - probably from about 7PM. Don't forget it's upstairs in the function room complete with it's own bar.

If everyone can pay me for the meal but pay for their own drinks I think that would be the best way to cover things (that doesn't mean I am too tight to buy a drink or two for my mates by the way as you well know ).

Deana and I will be organising a slideshow and some appropriate music - although it's a 70s themed meal don't feel you have to come along in 70s fancy dress but it's OK if you do!

I know that a number of us have booked rooms so we won't be rushing off early - lets have a great night

Deana and I have spent a pleasant hour or so doing research for the entertainment

I hope you like 60s/70s and 80s music as well as the cars
