Hey Guys

Thought I'd sprained my ankle last night. Turns out I've broken it.

Who's going to help me build this while I'm in a cast?

You want us to do all the work? Jog on!

Acclaim - fully working and on the road
13/60 Herald - mx5 powered and other such fun things, legal enough...
Mk1 2000 - it's still alive, just sleeping
Expert 815d - the slug

If in doubt, do up until you hear the crack and then go another 1/4 turn to ensure tightness.

I feel for you.  I broke mine about 5 or 6 years ago and it took about 3 months to heal properly after the operation. Mind you I had made a proper job of it and my foot was just dangling about on the end of my leg.

Hope yours is not too bad and you get back on your feet soon.

Ouch! How did you manage that? Mine is no way near that bad. My tendon just tore a chunk out the bottom of my leg bone

I was trying to remove a stubborn timber fence post in the garden. I'd dug round it down the concrete lump as was rocking the post backwards and forwards to loosen it when it suddenly snapped and smashed me in the face. I fell backwards and hit the deck with my foot trapped down the hole by the post. It broke the tibia at the joint and the fibula a few inches up my leg.

I won't be removing fence posts like that again.

Sorry to hear of your woes Cammy, hope it repairs itself without too much hassle.

My knee replacement operation has been put back to the 17th Feb, and if this dratted tooth/gum infection that has caused the delay has not cleared up by my visit to the Dentist next Tuesday and end up having the tooth out then it will be put back again by two weeks.

Mind you if it is put back it makes it easier to attend Stoneleigh, I must Chair the AGM of the Spares Group, but makes getting ready for the RBRR a bit tight though quite doable but may be blagging some preparation help from the fit bu**ers!

Wow Sparky, yeah, mine isn't that bad.

Hopefully it'll clear up Ted. Would suck to have the tooth pulled
