Did Nick demonstrate his electric bonnet?

Who will be the fist to do it on a Herald?

Electric bonnet, I mean, not 200bhp and FWD.

Hmm, whilst I have some mad project ideas knocking around my head, and working out how to do them (Project Traterham and Project Slamdy - both many many many years in the thinking, zero time in the making), it would be harder to do it with a Herald thanks to the chassis etc and the separate body tub on a Herald. There was that Mazda Herald thread started a while ago but sadly that's gone a bit quiet of late.

Anyway, I think this Binky episode was pretty good, and seeing the fuel tank fabrication was fantastic. I'm not 100% certain how driveable it will be in the end, but I like what is being done with it. I also wonder how they're going to get it road legal!

You've never seen "Pride, Prejudice and Zombies" then?
Gruesome from screenplay to acting.

Slight diversion, chaps.
In Binkie 13, Nick rejects mild steel as the material for his fuel tank, because he was ""unsure of its long term exposure to" and word which may have been 'toluene'.
Eh?   Toluene is a constituent of petrol, a benzyl ring with methyl side arm, but it doesn't do anything nasty to steel.
What's his beef?
I've asked on the BO MsB, with no sensible answer from the fans.   Maybe Nick will get arounf to answering one day.

No, I haven't John - I'll add it to the list though. I like a good cheesy horror film. I don't like horrible ones like Saw etc, and the Japanese horrors scare me too much, but one of my favourites is Cockneys vs Zombies, complete with some great old stars like Honor Blackman, Alan Ford and Richard Briars!

Anyway, back to Binky, and I was surprised by that as well - and also I'd have thought that rust build up would have been a bigger issue with a steel tank.

Suggestion from Another Place, that Nick misspoke himself for "ethanol", but I would think those fears would be exaggerated.
