I've just bought a 13/60 1969 herald which has been unloved somewhat. The idea is that me and my 15 yr old lad can do the resto over the next 18 months or so. The welding has been done, the chassis and engine are OK, but one obvious problem is the vinyl sunroof is beyond repair, I've been looking on the internet and am struggling to come up with even a reconditioned one. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks Steve
The original may have been made by Britax or Webasto.
I fear it will not be cheap.....

I had a Britax fitted to a GT6 a few years ago. Was a guy called Peter Harvey 01527 60401. Very good but expensive ~£1000 but that included cutting the hole in the roof. He had all the parts to make new Britax sunroof. I did try Littleportboathaven but I don't think they do them any more. Also there is a company called Cass Bros in Bromley Common that might be able to help. good luck mike
