Hi Folks,
I've just fitted a Kent road cam (Moss TT1104N) in my 4A.
The standard cams appear to be made of cheese so I went for a better made one ( that didn;t work out either)

Anyway, it is installed and set up using the Moss instructions -
Set crank to TDC
Turn crank to install angle  -  108' (90 + 1
Set #1 inlet cam lobe to TDC
Couple crank to cam.
This all went OK (I think)

This morning I started it for the first time. Can't achieve a tick over below 1500rpm.  So carried out the cam bedding procedure
200 - 3000 rpm for 20 minutes.

At 2000rpm the #1 spark occurs at apprx 10'btdc.  At 800rpm it should be 10'btdc so is the 2000 too low.

Any tips/help appreciated as to why the low tick over can't be obtained.
