10CR » Introduction

Firstly a quick introduction… My name is Ellis Stokes, I’ve been a member of Club Triumph since early 2002 when I bought my first TR7. I now have a MkII 2500TC (the Big Red Bus) as well as the LHD TR7 drophead. Other positions held within the club include the North London group organiser, the Club Registrar and members of both the main and competitions committees.

Anyway, enough of boring you with my life history and on to the reason you visited this page… the 2011 Ten Countries Run.

Following on from the 2007 & 2009, I'm afraid you're stuck with me again on the 2011 event. Now we always like to play around with the event a little each time, this being no exception. The route for the 2011 event is still being finalised, but will concentrate more around the Alps and include three overnight stops rather than the two of the previous runs. This ensures drivers are fresh and able to enjoy the roads more, but don't worry, we'll still be ending up at Rolduc (the monastery) on Sunday evening. This time, your entry fee includes your accommodation costs at Rolduc. When the route is finalise, we'll advise you on the area and potential hotels for you to make your own arrangements. As for ferries, we'll again be in contact with our friends at Motorsport travel to organise a deal for those interested.

I have my usual gaggle of a team poised to help organise what hopefully will be another great Club Triumph event. They are:

Andy Flexney & Theo Boonen.
