Firstly a quick introduction… My name is Ellis Stokes, I’ve been a member of Club Triumph since early 2002 when I bought my first TR7. I now have a MkII 2500TC (the Big Red Bus) as well as the LHD TR7 drophead. Other positions held within the club include the North London group organiser, the Club Registrar and members of both the main and competitions committees.
Anyway, enough of boring you with my life history and on to the reason you visited this page… the 2009 Ten Countries Run.
After organising the 2007 event, the committee asked me to carry on with the 2009 event, so it looks as though you're stuck with me !! I want to try and change the route a little for the next event, still keeping with the essence of the initial challenge of covering 10 countries, but exploring some different roads, that many of us will never have seen before, but as equally challenging with breath-taking scenary as previous event. More details will be available in October 2008.
I have a super-enthused team poised to help organise what hopefully will be the best 10CR yet. They are:
Route specialists
Andy Flexney, Keith Compton-Bishop, Theo Boonen and Roger Hoogmans.
Accommodation officer
Paul Darbyshire
