The London Classic Motor Show

at

Alexandra Palace

On the 15th - 16th March the Great Hall at Ally Pally formed the magnificent setting for the 1997 London Classic Motor Show.

Club Triumph stand

Club Triumph stand On the Club Triumph stand were the Vitesse Mk2 of Surrey Group organiser Chris Balster and the 2500S saloon of Les Mills. Chris's Vitesse attracted much interest. He restored it himself and it has won many concours awards, including best Vitesse at the TSSCs international meeting.

Surrey Classic Vehicle Club stand The Surrey Classic Vehicle Club won the best club stand award with this clever 'Heartbeat' themed stand. Was it the immaculate Herald 1200 or the fact that they'd brought their own pub which won them the prize!

Comet Hale-Bopp As exhibitors packed up on Sunday evening they got another sort of show as comet Hale-Bopp put in an appearance. (I know it's not a Triumph but I couldn't resist throwing this shot in!)
