Our National Day this year was at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, near Southampton.
It was preceeded on the Saturday by a road run through the beautiful New Forest. About 40 cars took part in this popular event over about 60 miles - all cars returning safely.

Other cars on the run.
On Sunday, well over 100 cars assembled in the rally field at Beaulieu, including several pre war Triumphs and Roadsters whose particular Clubs had been invited. Almost every model of post war Triumph was represented, including TR4s to 8s, Heralds, Vitesses, Spitfires, GT6s, 2000s, 2500s, Dolomites, Stags, Acclaims etc. For an inclusive fee, entrants could also enjoy the Motor Museum, house and gardens. An informal concours took place with prizes for best pre 40, Roadster and Club car (a GT6 mk.III). The highlight was probably the appearance in the ring of the earliest and latest cars present - a 1929 Super 7 Sports and a 1981 prototype TR8.
