More than 500 Triumphs turned out for Club Triumph's National Day and the Heritage Motor Centre's Standard Triumph Marque Day at Gaydon. Over 100 Club Triumph members brought their vehicles and were joined by many other clubs. Visitors were able to visit the Heritage Motor Centre museum, take part in fun events,
watch Triumph videos, take part a triumph cavalcade and hear a fascinating talk by former works rally driver Mike Sutcliffe and former competition manager Graham Robson. |

Most of the UK Standard and Triumph Clubs were represented and many put on impressive club displays.
Seen here are the Stag Owners Club, the TR Drivers Club, the 2000/2500/2.5PI register and the pre 1940 Triumph Owners club. |

Thanks are due to Bill Bolton from Club Triumph, Hazel Gore from B.M.I.H.T. and everyone who helped out. The event was so successful that a 1998 event that will commemorate 75 years of Triumph cars is already being talked about. This promises to be an event not to be missed, no matter what sort of Triumph or Standard you drive!
