'Cars ranging from forties roadsters to the last car bearing the Triumph name gathered at Knebworth Park, Herts, for Club Triumph's national rally. Examples Spanned every decade from the Forties to the Eighties, including TR sports cars, saloons and an Acclaim.'
So ran the report in Classic Car Weekly along with pictures of Sam & Chris Gordon-Stables' MkII Vitesse and Jack and John Disbrey's MkII 2000 saloon and there seems little for me to add. The sun shone and thanks to the presence of two guests from the Triumph Roadster Club we gave an excellent and unusual display of post-war Triumph vehicles.

Interest in the concours was down on past years although the standard was high. The cars entered were:
| Dot Benson | Spitfire 1500 | Philip Johnson | GT6 Mk 1 |
| Graham Nobbs | Spitfire 1500 | Doug Sewell | Roadster |
| Ken Munford | TR2 | June Parish | Stag |
| Sam Gordon-Stables | Vitesse MkII | Dennis Allen | 1500TC |
As stated the Standard was very high and judges Chris Allen, Dale Barker, and Dave Martley had difficulty deciding the final order although the winner was never in much doubt. The awards went to:
| Overall Winner | Graham Nobbs | Spitfire 1500 |
|---|---|---|
| 2nd Prize | Philip Johnson | GT6 Mk1 |
| 3rd Prize | Dennis Allen | 1500TC |
| Judges' Bonus Award | Doug Sewell | Roadster |
In addition to the above, I must thank the regular helpers, Mel Evans, John Millidge, Alan Renew and Les Mills. A special mention should be made for the assistance of Derrick & Jean Levitt and Family, as Derrick has recently undergone open heart surgery. He has my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
