Club Triumph National Day

This year we are holding the Club National Day on 5th July at Beaulieu. The gates will open at 10am. The prices are ADULT £9 CHILD (age 5 - 17 years) £6 Tickets are payable on the gate. The price includes entry to the museums, the house and the gardens. We will be on the hard standing outside the museum. We hope as many club members will attend as possible. We look forward to seeing you in the sunshine at Beaulieu.

As a curtain raiser for the Club's National Day, we have organised a scenic drive around the New Forest on Saturday 4th July. It will start at around 2.30pm at the Royal Oak Pub (SO42 7YR) at Hilltop on the B3054 between Dibden Purlieu and Beaulieu. Bar meals and snacks can be obtained before the start. The finish will be at Sammy Miller's Motor Cycle Museum near New Milton. There is a cafe here which can be visited without going into the museum. Will anyone who intends to come please email me so I have an idea of numbers. Thanks - Hope to see you

Club Triumph AutoSolo

Club Triumph is to promote an Autosolo event at Bovingdon Aerodrome on Sunday 19th July 2009. This is the first of what is hoped to be an annual event within the Club Triumph Calendar. For this the first running of the event entry will be open to entrants using Triumph motor cars, future runnings may be opened to other Car Clubs and therefore other makes of vehicle. The test area we will use will be part of the old runway, the surface being concrete.

Silverstone Classic

This year's event takes place over the weekend of 24th-26th July. Across the 3 days you can enjoy the excitement of Carlos Santana in concert, see over 600 stunning and rare racing cars in over 20 races, get up close to more than 4,000 classic club display cars, get involved with the world of Harley-Davidson® with stunt bikes and drag shows, watch celebrities race each other in a new celebrity challenge, be thrilled by flying displays and the Victorian Fun Fair. And if you have time left there are over 150 exhibitors offering the widest range of merchandise from art and antiques to automobilia.
Club Triumph will have a stand in the infield and there is a special ticket offer for CT members.

50 Years of the Triumph Herald

2009 marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of one of Triumphs most popular and influential models, the Triumph Herald. With its crisp Italian styling and straightforward mechanics it's now one the Club's most widely owned models.
We will be celebrating this anniversary at the Club's National Day in July and at the Standard Triumph Marque Day in May

Competitions

Club Triumph has an active competitions committee who organise grass roots motorsports events such as Road Runs, Track Days and Autosolos and have active affiliations to other organisations including the Motorsports Association, NESCRO and the Bedford Car Club.
