I bought a set of leads for TR7 Sprint from Mr-Retro-Leads-Plugs on eBay: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Mr-Retro-Leads-Plugs?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

Not Magnecor but very high quality - worth a look.  Hand built by Anthony Fitchett, yes same family as the parts specialist so he does know about Triumphs.  He made a special lead for my coil to my spec for the same price.

Never understood the ridiculous prices charged for Magnecor leads or the alleged advantages.  Been using the cut down Ford leads that came secondhand with the Ford coil pack 10 years ago.  More or less free and zero issues.  For the PI I bought a kit with 8mm silicone cable and relevant end fittings and assembled to the lengths I wanted.  Also very reasonably priced.

My current leads are whatever mr Witor sells
I’m finding that they keep working their way loose on the dizzy, I’ve opened the ends up but after a few days or weeks they become loose again
It’s almost like the dizzy cap has tapered sockets,at some point as I keep opening them up and they keep closing they will fall apart
Once loose I seem to start running on 5 cylinders, which is the signal to pop the bonnet and sort it
Hence the need to get a new set of better leads

I would talk to Chris Witor first, the leads should stay attached - + is the cap at fault rather than the leads?

Cap was also from mr Witor
It’s normally either one or both of two particular leads for some reason.
The two affected leads are not overstretched or overly bent

More lilkey the taper on the terminal boss is letting the shroud  work the terninals out ,
Ive never had a lead fail on any car ive ever owned in over 50 years and thats a lot , old and new ,
think theres a lot of myths about them, if they were any good manufactures would have something similar but fairly std leads do  get cars over 100k without failing

What Pete says. I've had lots of leads where the rubber shroud was too hard/small/slippery and wouldn't fit over the terminal boss properly.
