Well, a roadster with a nissan engine is for sale in Belgium  

Never knew about it , and don't like it !

Triumph Spitfire 1500 ( 1978 ) / The Fox  

16/09/2013: First good test drive in 2,5years !
30/09/2013: Back from the garage and on the road !
sept 2014: Now done more then 13.000 miles !
sept 2015: Done 29.000 miles & passed her years inspection again.
Feb 2016: New gearbox and overdrive.
July 2016: Done 45.000 miles.
27Aug 2017: Done 74.500miles.19Aug 2018: Done 92.000miles !

2nd rebuild gearbox, 2nd diff.. but still original engine (164.000miles).

 

7 march  2019: Now done 100.000miles in 5,5 years!

Enjoying every bit of her, sometimes a 'bit' sideways  
& Also my (only) everyday car !!

I like its location!


I think it's got a lot of potential to be kinda cool. But potential never got anyone a win.

The interior and wheels need some de-modernising

The interior does need some work. I would want more instruments + swap the bike Triumph logo for a car version.

strip the dash and replace with some nice Smiths Magnolia Dials.
Seats need replacing with something more period.
Steering wheel needs to be wooden and large
