Hi, i hope it is the right forumm to write.

My name is hagai, and i just bought renown 1951.
But i need some wood inside parts for it.
Where can i get them? Can someone help me or give me any advice please?

What wood would you require? Trim or the structural ash frame?

There is nothing available off shelf, so you would need to get a woodworker to make it up for you.
Triumph Razor edge club has most of the frame drawings available for it's members.
Trim I think you would be better off to take your old part and have it copied.

Whereabouts are you based?

There are a few companies based in UK that supply frame parts made for our pre-war and just post war triumphs, but they are to say the least, frightfully expensive.

I need more parts (like window's rubber, doors parts and covers and other accesories) where do u recomand me to search?
I tried eBay but i Couldnt find anything.

Best one stop here would be the Razor edge owner club, they have a spares program for their members.

They have also the expertise and knowledge of where to buy what for these cars and I would recommend becoming member (shamelessly plugging )

You could also try your luck with Brad Lodge, he runs a one man shop for Roadster spares, but lately did get a bit of bad press. My dealings with him have always been correct but because of the feedback from others I would add:

There is one more outfit that supplies roadster parts: http://www.triumphroadsterparts.com/ He took over the existing stock and business from Tony Butterfield when he passed away. They are mostly geared towards the Roadster though and not as much as the Renown.

Lastly you can try your luck with the Standard owners club, seen that both Renown and vanguard rolled of the same production lines at Canleys there are quite a few part in common. I dont know however if they have a spares program and have not had any dealings with them.

A good thread on Torque is worth nothing without a few pictures, so send us a few of the car! Consider it our fee for supplying info
