Wanted----twin downpipe for my dolly in useable or need repairing,converting it from single down

got a twin-down pipe
recently pick up a complete back axle of 1850 man with 3.63 diff DF code stamp came with rear anti bar/tramp bars/trailing arms/complete brake system(self adjusting) so i got abit to do before the thorseby classic car show in may,fingers crossed it should be done
well thats all for now,,must remember to use the camera more  

diff out 4.1,diff in 3.63 all ok,not test driven it yet,letting the wellseal to go off over night and fill up 2moro with gl4 oil
i have found driver side rear shock leaking so that another thing to fix/replace

im in need of a speedo drive pinion from a late 1500 1850 or 4 speed TR7
as you know just converted to 3.63 diff and im told that i need to change the speedo drive pinion to bring my speedo back in to line
so please have a look in your spares depo and think of me

I can't help with the pinion, but I reckon a pinion from a non-OD 1500 spitfire or non-OD later 1500 Dolly may also do the trick, which ought to triple your search area!

Not that any of those gearboxes are that common now.

cheers for that extra info,what ive seen and read(what info there is) got a part number but im not 100% its right,,part number is 219005 24tooth pinion,but would like to get one that been pulled out of a proper gearbox which was runing 3.63 diff,hense my cry-out to the forum

sorry wrong part number,number is 219006 25tooth

ive got in my 1300 gearbox a 25tooth drive pinion in sort off yelloweeeeee plastic

ive been offered a 21tooth for spitfire single rail,now can anyone work out would this be ok,,,at the moment,,my gauge says 50mph and satnav says 43/44mph,thats with a 25tooth in now....thanks

43/50 = 0.86

21/25 = 0.84

it should be much closer!

Your car dates from when all cars had the same speedo, and they changed the gearbox output gear to match.

With a 3.63 diff, you should just need the gearing from a 1500 spitfire / 1500 dolomite (both non-od)
