my 1500 needs some welding around all the jacking points but i need to jack it up on my newly purchased trolley jack. i've never had one before and am not sure where's the best place to lift it. any advice appreciated |

For any small chassis Triumph (and probably TR's too!) Old Blue. 1995-2001 Silverback. 2001-2007 SofS. 2007 - to date. |

I usually jack up at the front on the mounting points for the subframe. I also use axle stands on the subframe once jacked up. Cook1e |

You can use whatever axles stands your local motor factor or Halfords sells. Toledo Man Former stable of 5 Acclaims, 1 Toledo, 2 1500fwd, 1 1300fwd, 1 Dolomite 1300 & 1 Dolomite Sprint (that's just the Triumphs!) |

I use the rear most subframe mounts for front and on the rear the outer most edge of the axle just next to the bracket for the tie rod arm. NEVER use the chassis legs as they will crush. |
