Thinking on breaking my fwd 1300 1969 . A lot more needs doing to it than first thought . Not really got the room To do a proper job and  not sure if I want to throw all the money that's needed .  What sort of interest would I get for parts . My still persevere just take a lot longer than hoped .

Prices I have obtained in the past..............

Gearbox £75 - £150 but there isn't much of a market for them, doors if in good condition £10-15 each, engines don't generally sell for much, interior if red and in very good condition £75  black interiors £50,  boot lid £5, bonnet £10-20. glass has no value. dash dials and switch's £25-30, full front panel is rust free and removed properly (not easy to do) £75. exhaust manifolds £15. Ball joints if rebuildable units £50 or more.
Don't expect to sell the parts quickly as there are a lot of broken FWD's out there being sold and even new parts are generally on the cheap side.
As Clive said you will have more luck on the TDC site and there are even a few sad souls who may take the car complete, where are you?

I'm in Nottingham . One of the things that as put me off is not getting hold of The parts . Could you point me in the right direction for these breaking fwd .

Lots of Triumph bits get sold via eBay.  Searching on Triumph 1300 http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5508.m570.l1313&_nkw=Triumph+1300&_sacat=0&_from=R40 brings up stuff for your car.

If you do decide to break,  I'm really interested in taking quite a few parts off you. What colour are the door cards and carpet?

It's blue . Carpets are in real poor condition . Will be holding onto it for now . Last resort really to chop up . Would like to get it back on the road but if I do I'll get in touch .
