I know they're not the best but I use 'County' bearings & get them from XRN Engineering.

Thx for the info, those indeed are what everyone sells these days.
For a normal road-going car they might be fine, but I have my doubts for what I intend to do with the engine  :-/

I finished the head at the weekend and installed it on the block. Valve timing is done.

Not as shiny as Jeroem's but not bad.  :D




When I got home from work today I had some pics waiting for me on my email...









I'll be going down to see it in the flesh tomorrow (weather permitting).

I think this will be my last Sprint resto. I need to do something different. A Stag seems to be at the top of my list. ??)
