This could be a very tidy car, ideal for the RBRR IMHO. |

The seats are from a 1500fwd which is of a similar vintage to that 1850. Toledo Man Former stable of 5 Acclaims, 1 Toledo, 2 1500fwd, 1 1300fwd, 1 Dolomite 1300 & 1 Dolomite Sprint (that's just the Triumphs!) |

I first thought big saloon seats as they seem quite wide but 1500 fwd makes more sense. [color=purple]MX-5 Z-Sport (Tweaked to 200bhp)2007, Suzuki Vitara S Auto, Cosmic Black, 2017. |

There's nothing wrong with autos. The 1850 is the best combination with the BW65 which was a good autobox in it's day. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to take another 1850 auto on even if I had the money and space and besides, it has already sold. 1500fwd seats bolt straight in because the bodyshell is exactly the same. My mother had an 1850 auto and I thought the auto box blunted the performance somewhat. Mind you, if an autos what you want…… [color=purple]MX-5 Z-Sport (Tweaked to 200bhp)2007, Suzuki Vitara S Auto, Cosmic Black, 2017. |

Those plastic seats from a 1500 fwd are probably much more sensible than the nylon corduroy seats fitted to the 1850s, Sprints and 1500HLs. The Nylon Seats wear badley and also the top of the rear seat deteriorates badly from being exposed to sunlight. Cook1e |
