Just wondered if anyone knew what happened at the EAMA sale on Saturday when this was up for sale :

The estimate seemed incredible even with just 79 miles on the clock. If it made anything like that I'll have to get the drill out and start winding mine back !!

I've not seen how much the Dolomite's made but the Herald sold for £13.5K

Gulp ! Thank you, I'd missed seeing the Heralds and the 1500HL. Personally I hope they found owners who will use them carefully. I find there's something rather depressing about museum exhibits that are totally static.

A friend showed me the auction list today with all the sale prices marked.The Dolomites fell well short of the pre sale estimate.I think the 1500SE made £6100,it may have been £8100 but pretty sure it was the lower figure.

Both went for around £9500.

Thats correct it was 9100 and 9600.The 3000 mile Herald was surprisingly only 6000 odd.
