Club Triumph

I'm trying find the list price when new of the basic Triumph 1500 FWD. Can any one help? (Trim 27)

The reason is I want to use  it as my company car.

Don't laugh - this actually makes a huge amount of sense for classic cars!

Surely as it's current value is low it doesn't matter.

Or perhaps I have read the rules wrong, there is something special about using Classic cars I do know.

I know they were introduced to prevent people buying very expensive cars and then writting off lots of value against tax bills.

It might be possible to get hold of a price list via Gaydon.

List price does matter as the taxable value for P11D and P11DA is 20% of the list price, so long as current value is under £15,000. Thanks for the nod to Gaydon.

Then all repairs, maintenance, tax, insurance, improvements etc etc can be tax deducted through my company, which given that the car needs a fair amount doing to it will more than cover the tax value I pay on the P11D.

Found it thanks! £1113 6s 5d ex works including purchase tax, which means it is taxable as a benefit of £223, leading to a tax of £44.60 to me and £30.77 of Employers National Insurance, so total tax of £75.37 to allow for a total tax deduction of all repairs, maintenance, insurance, MOT, etc. Pretty good value for money as a company car I think.
