Got mine !




Good points : early TC with tubular exhaust many, 64000 KM nearly no rust ...
Not so good : clutch seems tired (is that difficult to change in situ ?), sometimes the rear brakes are blocking (seems that the hand brake spring is not top or the wheel cylinders a little blocked), rear suspension quite low ...

Very happy with the handling and steering.

Very nice! Can't be many of those in France. Some more pictures of inside and under the bonnet would be good when you get the time. Well done.

Is that difficult to change the clutch from the inside ?
I presume that is is good to change the input Shaft when it is open, no ?

clutch can be changed in about 30 minutes if all goes well.

From memory:

remove heater blower
remove tin cover over clutch
remove gearstick carpet
remove gearstick cover plate
remove small plate behind clutch slave (on end of gearbox) - this will expose the input shaft/gear
screw bolt or slide hammer into end of input shaft and pull out into car
unbolt clutch from flywheel
job done!

Is there a special grease for the input shaft splines ? heard about a BL one  ...

CV joint grease is the stuff you want, well it's what i've always used :)
