Greetings,
My name is Jim Gray and I'm new to the forum. Not new to Triumphs though. I race a vintage TR4 in the states, my dad's '64 street car tub on a '67 IRS chassis.
I'm in the process of installing a Tilton hydraulic clutch release bearing to a dog ring gear box. There is a lot of information out there about how it's done on a 5 speed conversion but not a lot on the TR box. What I'm really after is some input on the backing plate used to secure the bearing to the trans snout.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that would also work on the big saloon boxes too?

Faversham classics do a similar system for the Stags but it not cheap at about £500 just for parts
