They look good, so they will be permanently up? Can they be lowered manually or just fixed up? |

They are fixed up , although I could make a set of shorter supports to fix them in the lowered position. ![]() 1976 TR7 FHC (currently undergoing some TLC ...) 1980 TR7 DHC (a.k.a. Kermette, my first car bought in 1988 ) 1981 TR7 FHC (Sprint engined, a.k.a. 't Kreng) http://tr7beans.blogspot.com/ |

Quoted from Beans I had planned something like this myself but with a pin so I could drop them. Do you know roughly how much you have saved weight wise? Certainly less to go wrong now!! |

I really like to see the TR7V8 as in competition use so think I prefer the headlights fixed up, not sure about some of the examples below although I see the advantage if they are lighter and more aerodynamic. ![]() |

How are they is use? I've been considering them for a while now but they're not easy (or cheap) to get in RHD. I'm not sure how the beam cut off will feel to drive with using human eyes, any video I've seen has made its colours look a bit annoying. 1964 Triumph 2000 - sleeping 1968 Triumph Herald 13/60 - fully standard and about 230bhp... daily driver 1981 Triumph Acclaim - daily driver by my finger and thumb
